On 19 November, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025". Igor Onischuk, an expert of the Polaris Programme, analysed the resources allocated for local self-government in the document.
In 2025, the resources of local budgets will grow by 15% compared to 2024, increasing from UAH 285.1 billion to UAH 327.7 billion.
