The first 24 hromadas from 13 oblasts of Ukraine that have become partners of the Programme in the areas of "Education at the Local and Regional Levels" and "Development of the Institutional Capacity of the Starosta Institute."
The implementation of Programme support is gaining momentum – experts are visiting hromadas to conduct initial consultations, the first training sessions have begun, and preparations for the next stages of cooperation are underway. All partner hromadas will receive expert support in implementing changes aimed at improving governance efficiency and enhancing services for residents.
At present, 10 hromadas have joined the Polaris Programme under the "Education at the Local and Regional Levels" direction. They will receive support in creating effective educational networks and implementing senior school reform. Additionally, 15 hromadas have joined under the "Development of the Institutional Capacity of the Starosta Institute" direction. They will receive assistance in improving the operations of starosta districts, enhancing service delivery, and strengthening the capacity of starostas to support local self-governance.
The selection of hromadas was conducted through an open call via the Programme’s website, which made it possible to include hromadas from all corners of Ukraine.
